Today marks the beginning of the Lunar year 2012 – the Year of the Dragon, epitomized by Bruce Lee in his legendary film “Enter the Dragon”. Taras owns a collection of Bruce Lee’s books and films and they all influence his design and the architecture practice.

January the 9th marks a number of historically significant events, such as in 1968 when Surveyor 7, America’s last and most sophisticated unmanned moon probe landed near the rugged highlands close to the lunar south pole, or in 2007 when Apple introduced its first iPhone which epitomized the next generation of mobile phone devices, with a super cool look and touch pad for navigation including a virtual keyboard.

January the 9th 2012 marks a rather simple but memorable event, the Wolf team is back at work and our office is now open!

Just before we close the office for the year, the Wolf team went to Chadstone Shopping Centre today to celebrate.
As a token of appreciation the Wolf team awarded the title of “The World’s Best Boss” to Taras Wolf. This was a great way to end 2011 here at Wolf Architects!

The team at Wolf Architects is currently building a 1:20 balsa wood model like a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece of the puzzle is built as a section that can be perfectly slotted in to fit with the rest of the model, and it can be taken away to reveal the inner workings of this home.
However all contributors to the model must meet the Wolf standard by creating an intelligent model that is square, flat, perpendicular, parallel, gapless, glueless, smoothly sanded and filed. Those that do not meet the standard must keep trying until they get it right!

That’s what we are hoping to hear this Saturday the 26th when 11 Miller Crescent goes to Auction at 3pm. The property is now open for inspections this Thursday between 1.30pm-2pm, 7.30pm-8pm and for one last time before the auction between 2.30pm-3pm.
Both Wolf Architects and Toebelmann constructions went to great lengths to make this house the best that it could be.
