Inspired by the reductive aesthetic of British architect John Pawson, he introduced an avant garde minimalist approach into a suburb defined by convention.
The challenge was not minimalism itself, but how to make a space stripped of excess feel inherently luxurious rather than empty. Taras achieved this by grounding his modern vision in classical proportions and carefully selecting a refined palette of timeless materials.

The removal of traditional elements such as skirting boards, architraves, and cornices presented further challenges. To achieve these clean, resolved junctions, Taras produced detailed construction drawings by hand, often at full scale, to guide trades through unfamiliar detailing methods.

To complete the space, rare Vola fittings were imported and installed in unconventional positions, introducing both functionality and a sense of intrigue.
