Millimetre per Metre!

Millimetre per Metre!

All Wolf designers are trained to develop “The eye of the Wolf”. This term was coined by our chief architect Taras Wolf, who has the ability to see the difference of one millimetre from a distance of a metre. This means a lot when it comes to site-inspections. This project here has a conceptual shell that covers the building on top and from the sides. To stay true to the architectural idea, both the vertical and horizontal edges of the shell must be consistent in thickness (shown in picture). The average eye wouldn’t be able to pick up a slight difference between 350mm and 380mm, but Taras from a distance of 15 metres managed to sense an inconsistency. It turns out that there really was a 30mm difference. With a ratio of 2/1000, it is still well within Taras’ pick-up range!
